From The DIVA'S Kitchen: Teriyaki Wings

Football season (both professional and collegiate) are finally upon us! And we all know that with great gridiron action...comes great food! There’s nothing like catching the game with a few friends and ‘noshing on some tasty nibbles - these Teriyaki Wings are a delicious way to get things started!

You'll need the following ingredients:

2 pounds of full sized chicken wings {washed and cleaned)
1 cup water
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup of mango nectar
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbsp garlic (minced fresh)
2 tbsp fresh ginger (minced)
2 tbsp freshly ground cracked black pepper

In a glass or plastic bowl, whisk the soy sauce, olive oil, pineapple juice, mango nectar, sugar, ginger, garlic and cracked pepper until all the ingredients are blended and the sugar has dissolved.

Place the wings in a gallon-sized resealable storage bag and pour the marinade over them. Marinate the wings in the refrigerator overnight. so those flavors can meld and merge with the meat.
(You may want to place the bag in a shallow pan to avoid any spillage during the marinating process)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees, spray a foil lined sheet pan with a non-stick cooking product (like PAM), then place the wings evenly. Bake for an hour or until cooked through and crispy on the outside.
